As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by performing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Carry out armed patrol duties in accordance with company policies and local regulations, maintaining proper handling and awareness of assigned equipment.

+ Document and report observations, incidents, and any unusual occurrences promptly and accurately to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as appropriate.

+ Work collaboratively with fellow Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address concerns and uphold a secure environment.

+ Maintain awareness of surroundings and demonstrate a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity within the commercial real estate environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
