As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond promptly to situations as needed. Your role also involves delivering exceptional customer service and communication, embodying our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disturbances.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and patients while maintaining a visible security-related presence.

+ Document incidents, observations, and any unusual activity according to Allied Universal protocols.

+ Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of facility policies as required.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
