What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity according to site protocols.

+ Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to support a secure environment and provide assistance as needed.

+ Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and post orders as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be vaccinated as required for hospital settings.

+ Must be able to work in hospital morgue environments.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
