What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Observe and report any unusual occurrences or security-related incidents within the retail and mall environment.

+ Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site policies.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

+ Document all incidents and activities according to company and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be able to ride a bike.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
