As a **Security Officer - Patient Patrol** in **Los Angeles, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols relevant to the healthcare environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter inappropriate behavior and/or unauthorized access.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter security-related risks within the healthcare location.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

+ Work collaboratively with on-site staff and emergency personnel as needed to support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

+ Complete required reports and documentation accurately following each shift or incident as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
