As a **Security Officer - Tech Front Desk** in **Poway, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, providing exceptional customer service while monitoring access and assisting with security-related matters. Your presence at the front desk will help to deter incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere, reflecting our commitment to teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including greeting visitors and assisting with access control.

+ Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.

+ Maintain visitor logs and verify identification for individuals entering the premises.

+ Communicate professionally with employees, guests, and/or vendors, providing information and directions as requested.

+ Assist with emergency response activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

+ Must be eligible to obtain a secret clearance
