As a **Security Officer - Unarmed School Patrol Driver** in **Bronx, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, where you will remain visible throughout the campus, respond to situations as needed, and communicate clearly with staff, students, and visitors. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs within the location to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as required, and helping to maintain a secure environment.

+ Support campus events and activities by providing a security-related presence and responding to requests for assistance.

+ Work closely with campus staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and promote a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
