Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Operating Hydraulic Presses
2. Operating and performing welding duties
3. Assembly of units
4. Testing units
5. Putting on paint caps
6. Other various assembly jobs
7. Flexing from one workstation is required for continuous throughput
8. Able to identify defects
9. Track and enter scrap into MSS
10. How to complete the hour-by-hour board
11. Read and understand a traveler
12. Cross train in other departments
13. Supports 5s and safe work practices
14. Participate in High Performance Teams
15. Able to train other team members
16. Able to work in a team environment
Physical Demands:
• Stand for a minimum of 8 - 10 hours a day
• Frequent walking, reaching, lifting up to 25 lbs
• Occasionally stoop, bend, lift/move up to 50 lbs
• Able to identify, pick up small parts for assembly/pack product
• Close, distance, peripheral, vision, depth perception, adjust focus
High school diploma or GED, 1 year manufacturing experience, and/or combination of education or experience
