    Job Brief

    Provides operational, technical, and logistical support in maintaining agency-operated buildings and vehicles. Work under the direction of the Facility Director/ Maintenance Supervisor to help ensure safe, functional, and compliant environment.

    $21.75 hr. - $21.75 hr.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    + Assist with facility operations, routine maintenance tasks, and building service needs.

    + Review, prioritize, and complete assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner.

    + Evaluate facility conditions and promptly report repair needs, safety concerns, or recommended improvements.

    + Support furniture moves, item disposal, and facility setup requests as needed.

    + Assist in maintaining compliance with municipal, state, and OPWDD regulations under the guidance of the Facility Director.

    + Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including routine inspections, cleaning, and coordination of service needs.

    + Document vehicle information required for CFR reporting.

    + Participate in required training programs, including safety and operational performance training.

    + Respond to emergency maintenance calls as assigned.

    + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, vehicle servicing, and completed work.

    + Perform other duties as assigned by the Facility Director or Maintenance Supervisor.

    + Adapt to occasional changes or additions in duties based on operational needs.

    + Serves as a driver when necessary

    + Ensures that each person who uses transport services is treated with dignity, respect, and patience

    + Participates in required training programs and attends all staff meetings as needed

    + Adheres to current CP Unlimited Personnel Policies

    Position Requirements

    + Ability to safely and effectively use basic trade tools and equipment.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and the ability to learn work-order or maintenance software systems.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.

    + Basic familiarity with building maintenance terminology (preferred but not required).

    + Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance staff, contractors, and agency personnel.

    + Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to all agency facilities as needed.

    Educational Requirements

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + Technical school training, trade certification, or an Associate Degree in a related field preferred.
