This **temporary Warehouse Associate** position is an excellent opportunity to earn extra income while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
The Warehouse Associate performs receiving, stock keeping, picking, packing, and shipping activities, while also supporting counter sales, housekeeping, and general quality assurance tasks.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Handle all incoming shipments.
+ Verify purchased products and enter order receipts into WESCO’s computer system.
+ Perform quality assurance inspections when appropriate.
+ Place received material into proper warehouse storage locations, segregate backorders, and relocate/consolidate materials when needed.
+ Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment (including assemble & hold orders).
+ Prepare bills of lading and express receipts.
+ Assist in loading trucks.
+ Prepare local delivery records and complete required pick ticket fields.
+ Maintain appropriate forms pending return of material.
+ Inspect returned material before completing return authorization forms.
+ Pull stock and return it to the correct location pending credit memo, sale, or return to supplier.
+ Clean warehouse and trucking/parking areas.
+ Assemble or disassemble bins, racks, shelves, and tables as needed.
+ Support preventative maintenance programs for delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment.
+ Record customer complaints and document resolutions or route to management as needed.
+ Maintain counter stock as needed.
+ Assist with over-the-counter sales as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
Skills/Requirements
+ Basic computer skills
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a warehouse setting—generally well-ventilated and well-lit, though employees may be exposed to varying weather conditions. This role involves operating heavy equipment and adhering to strict safety regulations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is a physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use hand tools.
**Pay Details:** $19.00 per hour
