**Job Overview:** Our client is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join their team in their Somerville, NJ warehouse. This position offers a steady day shift schedule with most weekends off, competitive pay of $20-$24 per hour, and excellent low-cost health benefits.

Working Hours:

+ Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM with a half-hour lunch break.

Responsibilities:

+ Manage pallets and pallet storage.

+ Relocate pallets to and from production areas, maximizing space.

+ Load and unload trucks, review inventory, identify, label, and relocate items.

+ Stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day, with frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting, and climbing stairs.

+ Sort and store inventory at two locations within 6 miles of each other.

+ Work with computer systems including WMS and spreadsheets.

+ Encourage positive interactions within and between departments and support quality standards.

+ Communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff.

+ Assist with receiving and shipping, picking/packing, kit assembly, and various other warehouse projects as needed.

Required Experience:

+ Excellent forklift driving capabilities.

+ Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing in English.

+ Ability to manage a fast-paced workload.

+ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to drive a company vehicle.

+ Comfortable with computers; knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus.

+ Flexibility to adapt to frequent changes and meet client demands.

+ Ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

+ Able to lift/carry 50lbs with or without accommodation.

+ Experience with carts, dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.

+ Ability to withstand temperature fluctuations from 55 - 90+ degrees depending on the time of year.
