    Join ETS Research in advancing AI-supported learning and assessment for K–12 education. As a Research Associate in the Skills and Business Excellence group, you’ll contribute to innovative projects that shape the future of education.

    What You’ll Do

    + Conduct and support research projects with minimal supervision.

    + Collect, code, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.

    + Design AI-supported assessment prototypes and contribute to API development for GenAI model testing.

    + Collaborate with educators through co-design sessions to ensure classroom relevance.

    + Create charts, tables, and visuals for reports and presentations.

    + Co-author research reports, manuscripts, and presentation decks.

    + Coordinate efforts across diverse teams including scientists, engineers, and program administrators.

    + Continuously learn and apply new tools and methodologies.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Master’s degree in education, learning sciences, cognitive science, statistics, or a related field.

    + At least 2 years of hands-on research experience in educational settings.

    + Demonstrated experience in K–12 STEM education and assessment design.

    + Proven experience applying AI technologies in education.

    + Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SPSS, R, or NVivo.

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience designing assessments for emerging constructs.

    + Familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).

    + Experience contributing to peer-reviewed publications or conference presentations.
