    Aerotek is Hiring: Material Handling Specialist (Forklift Operations)

     

    **Employment Type:** Contract-to-Hire

    **Shift/Pay: 2nd:** 2:15-10:30PM

     

    About the Role

     

    Join a fast-paced distribution team as a **Material Handling Specialist** with a focus on **forklift operations** . You’ll play a key role in shipping, receiving, and inventory control while ensuring compliance with **Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)** and **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)** . This position is essential to keeping products moving safely and efficiently.

    What You’ll Do

    + Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials safely.

    + Pick, pack, and ship orders with precision and speed.

    + Screen shipments for compliance with TSA requirements.

    + Perform warehouse system transactions and maintain accurate records.

    + Verify storage conditions and temperature monitoring for sensitive products.

    + Load and unload trucks while maintaining safety standards.

    + Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and secure.

    + Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and quality.

    What We’re Looking For

    + **Education:** High School Diploma or GED.

    + Ability to lift **40–75 lbs** and work on your feet for extended periods.

    + Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry).

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    + Comfortable working in refrigerated environments with PPE.

    + Team player with great communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + **Forklift Certification** (or willingness to obtain).

    + Previous warehouse/distribution experience.

    + Knowledge of GMP standards.

    + Experience in pharmaceutical or clinical logistics.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Breinigsville, PA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.35/hr.
