Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will possess an operational knowledge of industrial machinery, including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, and industrial/electronic controls, as well as power transmission systems. Your strong skills in PLC, CNC, and PC troubleshooting, along with mechanical and electrical aptitude, will be crucial. You will diagnose malfunctions using test equipment or software and maintain equipment logs. Additionally, you will perform scheduled preventive maintenance, install and repair electrical equipment, and operate machinery to demonstrate proper use or analyze malfunctions.

Responsibilities

+ Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions.

+ Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment.

+ Maintain equipment logs recording performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests.

+ Install and repair all electrical equipment.

+ Run conduit professionally following the National Electrical Code.

+ Wire starters, motors, controls, and breaker panels.

Essential Skills

+ Advanced knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.

+ 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Electrician.

+ Ability to follow and troubleshoot electrical schematics.

+ Familiarity with general blueprint reading.

+ Experience operating and troubleshooting PC, CNC, and PLC operated equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong troubleshooting skills for PLC, high voltage electrical, and electrical schematics.

+ Experience with Fanuc and Siemens control systems.

+ Ability to troubleshoot machinery, hydraulic systems, and pneumatics.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and well-lit, although it is not temperature controlled, it remains comfortable. This position requires availability on weekends with ample opportunities for overtime. The working hours are from 10pm to 6am, Sunday through Thursday, on the 3rd shift or 2pm to 10 pm Monday through Friday on 2nd shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $83200.00/yr.
