    Job Description:

    The Student Affairs Coordinator works independently to coordinate all administrative aspects of the graduate and undergraduate programs in the Department of Anthropology. The incumbent works directly with the Director of Graduate Studies (DGS), the Director of Undergraduate Studies (DUS), the Department Chair, the Graduate School, and the Registrar among other offices on campus to implement curricular directives and mandates to meet program goals. This position also works closely with the Academic Department Manager (ADM) to ensure faculty and students are supported.

    Education

    + Associate’s degree with at least 3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Strong planning, organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

    + Highly effective oral and written communication skills.

    + High proficiency and strong experience in software for word, spreadsheet applications, and presentations (both Microsoft Office and Google Suite versions) and Zoom.

    + Experience with Workday, Banner, GSIM, and creating databases is helpful.

    Additional physical demands and working conditions:

    + May need to rearrange office furniture for seminars.

    + The incumbent is expected to work commencement weekend and may need to work some evenings for Department events.
