Auto Body Estimator

**Location:** Inver Grove Heights

**Schedule:** 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

**Employment Type:** Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented **Auto Body Estimator** to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate customer repairs and appointments, work closely with the Service Department, and ensure accurate estimates for labor and parts. Your ability to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain organized workflows will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities

+ Schedule and coordinate customer repairs and appointments with relevant departments.

+ Collaborate with Service Manager, Shop Foreman, Office Manager, and Outside Sales on service workflow.

+ Accurately obtain and document customer information and vehicle data.

+ Prepare and finalize customer estimates for labor and parts after approval.

+ Write service repair quotes and orders.

+ Interact with customers in a positive, respectful, and professional manner.

Essential Skills

+ Automotive service and parts experience.

+ Knowledge of insurance claims and billing.

+ Proficiency with CCC Software and other estimating tools.

+ Body shop experience required.

+ Familiarity with diesel engines and repair (preferred).

+ Strong technical writing and communication skills.

+ Customer service orientation.
