    Maintenance Technician

     

    Pay Rate - $28/hr.+

     

    

    Job Description

    Join our team as an Assembly Maintenance Technician where you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on automated plastics assembly equipment. This role requires both mechanical and electrical maintenance expertise, as well as the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment independently.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

    + Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with PLCs.

    + Run cost reports to ensure equipment repairs are within budget.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.

    + Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting.

    + Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.

    + Reliability and initiative in performing tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + A mechanical degree is a plus.

    + Electrical troubleshooting experience is beneficial.

    + Familiarity with blueprints, welding, and maintenance repair of motors, conveyors, and industrial systems.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is very high-tech and fast-paced, providing an engaging atmosphere for those who thrive on challenge. The position requires working on the 3rd shift, with initial training potentially occurring on any shift. Shift hours are as follows: 1st shift from 6:48 am to 3 pm, 2nd shift from 2:48 pm to 11 pm, and 3rd shift from 10:48 pm to 7 am. Shift differentials apply, with an additional weekend differential for applicable shifts. The team values collaboration and communication, ensuring a supportive workplace.
