    Welder Fabricator - Granbury, Tx

     

    1st Shift - $25-29/hr

    Job Description

    The Welder Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication and welding of components used in production, ensuring all work meets drawing specifications, safety protocols, approved weld procedures, and quality assurance standards. This role requires technical skill, precision, and a strong focus on safety and detail.

    Responsibilities

    + Fit and weld complex assemblies in accordance with standard work and blueprints.

    + Consistently perform quality welds using GTAW processes in positions 1F through 4F.

    + Safely and effectively operate various hand and air tools, including die grinders, angle grinders, drills, skill saws, and gouging equipment.

    + Maintain close attention to precision measurements and fabrication details to ensure high-quality results.

    + Demonstrate quality-at-source practices by self-inspecting work and maintaining high standards throughout the fabrication process.

    + Safely perform complex crane lifts as required by the job.

    + Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing tasks requiring manual dexterity.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years of welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

    + Proficiency in MIG welding, with experience in Flux and TIG welding preferred.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Flux core, MIG, TIG, pipe welding, and stainless steel fabrication.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Skill in using industrial tools such as die grinders, angle grinders, and drills.

    The position is based in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility, which will be hot. Proper safety gear and attire are required.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Granbury, TX.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
