Job Title: Assembly Worker
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Worker for a 1st shift position from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, for a total of 40 hours a week. In this role, you will work in a dynamic facility that specializes in refurbishing hydraulic motors. You will begin by working alongside a team to clean and polish motor parts, with the opportunity to advance into disassembling and reassembling components over time. All necessary tools and training will be provided.
Responsibilities
+ Disassemble hydraulic motors to repair and replace components like bearings and seals.
+ Utilize standard hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, polishers, and grinders.
+ Start in the part washing area, cleaning and polishing motor parts.
+ Power wash larger parts as needed, wearing appropriate protective gear.
+ Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient workflow and quality standards.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in assembly and disassembly.
+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.
+ Mechanical aptitude and understanding of production processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous experience in warehouse, automotive, or farming environments is beneficial.
+ Strong attendance record and willingness to learn.

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean, organized, and climate-controlled facility. It includes a dedicated section for power washing and ensures all tools and parts are sorted for ease of use. Employees should wear clothes that can withstand dirt and grease, with pants provided by the company.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
