    Job Summary and Responsibilities

     

    The incumbent provides coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem-solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team providing leadership personal/professional development and conducting him/herself professionally.

    Job Requirements

    Minimum:

    + Current California RN license required

    + One (1) year of Telemetry experience in a medical/surgical acute care setting as an RN.

    + Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)

    Preferred:

    + Surgical and Orthopedic experience

Methodist Hospital is home to the Family Medicine Residency Program an accredited and nationally recognized program which provides resident physicians with specialty training in primary care family medicine. Together the hospital and residency program implemented a ground-breaking curriculum addressing the identification treatment and assistance of human trafficking victims and created a one-of-a-kind health clinic for victims the Human Trafficking Medical Home.

    Pay Range

    $85.79 - $85.79 /hour
