    Job Title: Pipe Foreman

    Job Description

    Lead a team of 5-10 individuals in the field for underground utility installation, including sewer, storm drain, water, and irrigation systems. You will be responsible for trench safety, pipe alignment, grading, and quality control. Utilize lasers, levels, and hand/power tools effectively. Coordinate with equipment operators and supervisors while maintaining a safe, organized work area. The goal is to excel as a foreman and eventually grow into a superintendent role.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead a team of 5-10 personnel in the field.

    + Ensure trench safety and proper pipe alignment and grading.

    + Conduct quality control for all installations.

    + Operate lasers, levels, and various hand/power tools.

    + Coordinate with equipment operators and supervisors.

    + Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 5 years recent experience in underground utility or pipe installation.

    + Strong leadership skills.

    + Ability to read construction drawings and grade stakes.

    + Familiarity with trench safety and pipe materials.

    + Proficiency in installation techniques.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in construction, pipe laying, and using PVC materials.

    + Knowledge of industrial and civil piping, including threading and welding.

    + Ability to install piping for storm and wastewater systems.

    + Valid driver's license.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, DE.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr.
