Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

As a Production Operator, you will frequently handle bags of product weighing between 1-50 lbs, and occasionally up to 100 lbs. Your role involves reading ingredient labels, counting bags on pallets, placing scoops and lids on containers, stacking and sealing products, and operating various production line equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Handle bags of product weighing between 1-100 lbs.

+ Read ingredients and count bags on pallets.

+ Place scoops in cans, jars, or buckets and secure lids.

+ Stack and seal bags or cans as they come off production lines.

+ Bag products efficiently and accurately.

+ Operate machinery to dump bags of product into appropriate equipment.

Essential Skills

+ General production and lifting skills.

+ Experience with bagging and quality production.

+ General labor, assembly, and packaging skills.

+ Proficiency with hand tools, packing, and machine operation.

+ Ability to follow one- or two-step verbal and written instructions.

+ Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and percentages.

+ Basic computer skills for data entry and retrieval.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crosse, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.36 - $23.59/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
