Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Specialist to manage and operate forklifts, conduct inventory counts, and prepare products for shipment in a dynamic warehouse environment.

1st shift 9:30am-6pm - available for training 7am-3:30pm for 2 weeks

Responsibilities

+ Operate forklifts, including standup forklifts, for less than 30% of the day.

+ Move products and pallets throughout the facility.

+ Pick products using RF scanners.

+ Perform inventory and cycle counts.

+ Review pick sheets and order sheets.

+ Verify picks with RF scanners.

+ Prepare products for shipment.

+ Move materials throughout the facility using various equipment.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers.

+ Proficiency in using RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts.

+ Ability to perform loading and unloading tasks.

+ Competency in inventory control and computer data entry.

+ Familiarity with tools such as iPads, smartphones, and Excel.

Work Environment

This role is set in a warehouse and office environment with over 100 employees. The warehouse is divided into six major departments: ITAD, Lab-Config Techs, S/R, Inventory, Picking, and Special Projects. Typically, there are two shifts, with a third shift added during peak seasons.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carol Stream, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
