Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals for a General Production Worker position on the 2nd shift. This role involves managing the bagging of 50-pound bags of ingredients and ensuring they are properly sealed using a machine to prevent leaks.

Responsibilities

+ Bag 50-pound bags of ingredients.

+ Operate a sealer machine to ensure bags are leak-proof.

+ Work collaboratively with a team in a production environment.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production and manufacturing.

+ Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently.

+ Proficiency in operating machinery such as forklifts and boilers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 6+ months of manufacturing experience within the last year.

+ Possession of a 2B Boilers License or greater is preferred and may lead to higher pay.

We offer a competitive shift differential with an additional $2.00 for the 2nd and 3rd shifts after direct hire. Employees also benefit from a $750 sign-on bonus after 90 days, with an additional $750 after 6 months. Work Environment

The work environment includes shifts from 6 am - 2 pm for 1st shift, 2 pm - 10 pm for 2nd shift, and 10 pm - 6 am for 3rd shift, all with overtime possibilities. Employees work in dusty and occasionally smelly conditions, with a dress code of jeans and t-shirts or long-sleeve shirts. After a few weeks, employees receive shirts with their names. The workspace is compact, requiring teamwork and collaboration.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake City, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
