Job Title: Welding Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Welding Supervisor to join our fabrication division. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 8-10 skilled welders and fitters, focusing on structural welding and fitting projects.
Responsibilities
+ Supervise and manage a team of 8-10 welders and fitters.
+ Ensure quality and efficiency in structural welding and fitting operations.
+ Develop and implement process improvements within the team.
+ Maintain safety and compliance standards in all welding activities.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
+ Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, flux core, and arc welding.
+ Experience with structural steel and sheet metal fabrication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with robotic welding and process improvement strategies.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Preferred experience in stainless steel welding.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.
