    Description

    Robert Half is partnering with a manufacturing company in northern Denver on an Accounting Manager opening. This role will report up to the CEO. This role is 100% in office.

    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team and oversee all aspects of financial accounting for a growing manufacturing company. This role will manage a team of three and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and compliance with all applicable standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

    + Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

    + Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

    + Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.

    + Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of three accounting professionals.

    + Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.

    + Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

    + Maintain and optimize accounting systems; Sage 100 experience highly preferred.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).

    + 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

    + Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

    + Experience in manufacturing or similar industry mandatory.

    + Proficiency with Sage 100 or similar ERP systems (highly preferred).

    + Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
