We are seeking a part-time intern to work in our Superior, CO office for approximately 8-10 hours per week during the 2026 Spring Semester. A successful internship would likely convert to a full-time internship during the 2026 Summer.
About the Internship:
The intern will support the Institutional Bank’s Risk Management function, working directly with the SVP, Institutional Bank Risk Management on a variety of risk, compliance, and monitoring activities. Through work tasks, the intern will gain an understanding of know your customer due diligence activities as well as risk and compliance topics within the financial services industry and practical operational experience. Activities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Support client onboarding by executing successful compliance risk screening
+ Support a sales segment via periodic regulatory monitoring tasks
+ Ensure data integrity related to client identifiers, partnering with sales, originations, and support teams, as needed.
+ Maintain and submit recurring files as part of financial crimes risk mitigation.
+ Perform recurring risk-related reconciliations, primarily related to know your customer due diligence activities
+ Maintain and enhance certain risk-related procedures and related documentation
What We are Looking for in candidates
+ Must have completed at least two years toward a four-year, undergraduate degree program with coursework in business, pre-law, economics, English, math, or other applicable program with an anticipated graduation in or before May 2028.
+ Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
+ A strong work ethic and extreme attention to detail.
+ A desire to gain exposure to working in a highly regulated industry.
+ A minimum 3.3 undergraduate GPA.
+ Eligibility to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Compensation and Benefits
This position is eligible to earn an hourly rate of $24 per hour.
_KeyBank’s Internship and Analyst positions are not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa). This includes, for example, situations where a candidate may have temporary work authorization while enrolled in school or upon graduation (e.g., CPT, OPT) but would need H-1B visa sponsorship within a few years of employment in order to maintain employment eligibility._
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $18.00 - $22.60 per hour. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location.
**Please note:** While a base pay range is referenced above, this position is compensated at a fixed rate of $24 hourly.
