Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in Lincolnshire, Illinois. This contract position is integral to driving IT infrastructure and security projects, ensuring that they align with strategic goals and are executed efficiently. The role requires a proactive leader who can effectively collaborate with stakeholders, manage resources, and mitigate risks while maintaining compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure and security projects in alignment with organizational objectives.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including charters, timelines, and communication strategies, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.

• Manage project budgets and resource allocations to ensure financial accountability and efficient utilization.

• Oversee change management processes to facilitate seamless transitions during system upgrades and enhancements.

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with IT leadership and business stakeholders.

• Coordinate and guide cross-functional teams, including IT professionals and external vendors, to meet project milestones.

• Facilitate regular meetings to monitor progress, address challenges, and maintain alignment with project goals.

• Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with infrastructure changes, operational disruptions, and security vulnerabilities.

• Ensure thorough documentation of project activities, including designs, operational procedures, and compliance evidence.

• Track and report on remediation efforts for audit findings and security assessments to support organizational compliance.

Requirements • Proven experience in managing IT projects within the Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) space.

• Strong ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and acquired company representatives.

• Expertise in developing and maintaining detailed project plans, including budgets and resource allocation.

• Familiarity with change management processes and strategies for minimizing disruptions.

• Skilled in identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans for operational and security challenges.

• Proficiency in tools like monday.com and other project management software.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and facilitate virtual meetings.
