    Purpose and Scope:

_Summarize the primary purpose of the position in 1-3 sentences. Intent is to capture the work this position does and is accountable for and why the role exists as a unique position. Not intended to be a summary of all duties._

The Program Manager, IT – Real Estate & Facilities is responsible for leading all technology-related planning, coordination, and delivery activities that support global real estate and facilities projects — including new site builds, renovations, relocations, and closures.

This role serves as the primary liaison between IT (Infrastructure, Network, Security, and End-User Services) and the Real Estate & Facilities organization, ensuring every site is delivered with the right technology foundation — from networks and collaboration systems to end-user readiness and physical IT environments.

The Program Manager will develop and manage initial IT budgets for each site project, ensure alignment with corporate standards, and work closely with real estate and facilities teams on network designs and IT room layouts (e.g., network closets, server rooms, engineer workspaces, and Genius Bar-style support areas).

While this position has no direct reports, it requires strong leadership through influence — coordinating work across internal IT teams, external vendors, and construction partners to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

    Key Responsibilities

    Program Leadership & Governance

    • Serve as the single point of contact between IT and Real Estate & Facilities for all site-related technology work.

    • Lead IT workstreams for office expansions, renovations, and closures, ensuring alignment to business priorities and project timelines.

    • Develop initial IT project budgets, including cost estimates for network, AV, end-user, and security components; manage updates throughout project delivery.

    • Maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for all IT deliverables tied to real estate projects.

    • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, financials, and dependencies to IT and RE&F leadership.

    • Ensure IT participation in design reviews, construction meetings, and readiness milestones.

    Technical Oversight

    • Collaborate closely with Real Estate and Facilities teams on network designs and IT space planning, ensuring adequate provisions for:

    - Main and intermediate distribution frames (MDFs/IDFs)

    - Server rooms (where appropriate)

    - Onsite engineer workrooms

    - Genius Bar or local IT support areas

    • Coordinate the design and deployment of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), Microsoft Teams Rooms, and end-user technology readiness for each site.

    • Partner with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and unified communications teams to ensure technology standards and security controls are consistently applied.

    • Oversee vendor and contractor engagement for IT-related construction activities (structured cabling, AV installation, network setup, etc.).

    • Ensure all systems are tested, validated, and transitioned to operational support prior to site occupancy.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with architects, general contractors, and RE&F project managers to align IT requirements with space design and construction schedules.

    • Coordinate with internal IT delivery teams and external service providers to ensure milestone completion and risk mitigation.

    • Collaborate with Finance and Procurement on budgeting, PO management, and vendor performance oversight.

    • Clearly communicate project timelines, dependencies, and technical requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

    • 8+ years of experience in IT project or program management, preferably supporting corporate real estate or facilities initiatives.

    • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure domains including networking, Wi-Fi, Microsoft Teams Rooms, end-user technology, and physical IT environments.

    • Proven ability to develop and manage budgets for complex, multi-vendor IT projects.

    • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams through influence rather than direct authority.

    • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills

    • Strong financial and vendor management capabilities.

    Working Environment
