    Join Our Team as Design Drafter- Where Every Day Brings Something New!

At Alloy Products Corp, we're looking for a skilled Designer Drafter to work within our Engineering team that has a passion for precision, collaboration, and ensuring all drawings meet industry guidelines and project requirements.

    Job Summary:

    The Designer Drafter is responsible for creating, detailing, and updating pressure vessel designs in accordance with customer specifications. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor 3D to develop accurate layouts and drawings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of engineering principles, and the ability to work within ASME and ISO standards to ensure compliance and quality.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare new drawings per the design guidelines and ASME Section VIII, Division I.

    + Update old drawings per the design guidelines.

    + Design per our manufacturing capabilities.

    + Interpret quote and customer specifications for Product Design.

    + Work with customers on questions and clarifications for orders.

    + Prepare and send drawing approval packages to the customer.

    + Follow and maintain all drawing and departmental standards and ISO procedures.

    + Prepare engineering change orders and engineering change requests.

    + Enter data and maintain the parts in the ERP manufacturing system

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + Associate's degree in mechanical design

    + Experience with 3D CAD modeling (Inventor preferred)

    + Preferably 1 year of experience

    + Ability to work independently or under supervision and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

    + Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
