    DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS

    Responsibilities:

    + Provides leadership, coordination and integration of technology into the district’s educational programs.

    + Develops and leads ongoing and long-range planning for the district’s educational programs and educational technology needs, resulting in a district 5-year plan.

    + Supervises the business programs and staff.

    + Supervises instructional technology and support staff.

    + Coordinates technology training and staff development.

    + Oversees evaluation of hardware, software, and Internet websites for use in the instructional program.

    + Obtains grant funding for technology programs, when available.

    + Serves as a resource to district staff in developing and implementing building plans for the use of technology in the classroom.

    + Assumes all other duties as assigned.

    + Participates in county and regional technology events.

    Qualifications:

    + NYS SDL or SDA Certification required.

    + Expertise in the use of instructional technology.

    + Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

    + Problem-solving and decision-making ability.

     

    Salary: Per Administrative Contract

     

    Effective: July 1, 2026
