    Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking a results-driven Industrial Engineer to join our Human Resources and Labor Relations team. This unique role blends traditional IE responsibilities with a strong focus on workforce analytics, labor-cost optimization, and incentive-program design. The ideal candidate will bring a data-driven mindset to support strategic decision-making around labor utilization, overtime management, and performance-based compensation.

    Summary of Responsibilities

    + Analyze workforce data to identify trends in labor utilization, overtime, absenteeism, and productivity.

    + Develop and maintain labor standards, time studies, and engineered work measurements.

    + Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Finance to evaluate and improve incentive pay programs.

    + Support labor relations initiatives by providing data and insights for contract negotiations and grievance resolution.

    + Design and implement dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key labor metrics.

    + Partner with HRIS and IT to ensure data integrity and accessibility for workforce analytics.

    + Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field

    + Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and statistical tools.

    + Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering, workforce analytics, or labor optimization.

    + Experience with labor standards and incentive systems.

    + Familiarity with union environments and labor agreements is a plus.
