    We are seeking a highly analytical and technically adept Senior Consultant to join one of our PMO Technology function projects within a leading banking organization based in Chicago. This role is pivotal in enabling data driven decision making across the project portfolio by designing, developing, and maintaining robust reporting solutions using Clarity PPM, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI and other enterprise tools. The ideal senior consultant will bring a strong blend of data analytics expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, and a deep understanding of project portfolio management.

     

    + Review, optimize and deliver Clarity PPM reports and dashboards to support portfolio governance, resource management, and financial tracking

    + Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from Clarity PPM and other systems (Excel, PowerPoint, ServiceNow) to generate standardized reports/dashboards and actionable insights

    + Inventory Clarity PPM, Excel, SharePoint and other systems for all used reports in PMO Technology function and identify usage, key stakeholders and future use cases to simplify, standardize and automate data analytics and reporting

    + Maintain SharePoint sites and lists to support project documentation, workflows, and reporting and analytics collaboration

    + Collaborate with PMO leads, project managers, and technology stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable solutions

    + Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements

    + Support the evolution of the PMO’s data analytics strategy, including the adoption of chosen reporting & analytics or other visualization tools

    + Update existing documentation for processes, data definitions, and reporting standards to ensure knowledge continuity and audit readiness

    + Clarity PPM (Reporting modules) - REQUIRED

    + Advanced Excel (VBA, Power Query, etc. ), SharePoint (lists, workflows), PowerPoint

    + Data & Analytics - Strong data manipulation, cleansing, and visualization skills; ability to interpret trends and anomalies

    + PPM - Understanding of program/project lifecycle, resource planning, and financial tracking within a PMO context

    + Banking - REQUIRED. Experience working in a regulated financial institution or deposits management or similar complex environment

    + Communication & Problem Solving - Proactive, detail oriented, and capable of working independently to resolve data and reporting issues. Ability to translate PPM and technical data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders

    + Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Analytics, Technology or a related field

    + 7+ years of experience in data analytics or reporting roles, preferably within a PMO and financial services environment

    + Certifications in Clarity PPM, Microsoft Excel, and/or Power BI are a plus

    + Willing to be onsite 2-3 days per week in Downtown Chicago

    + Willing to be onsite 2-3 days per week in Downtown Chicago

    + Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.

    + Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
