    Job Title: Clinical LeaderDepartment: Long Term Care Location: Park Ridge Living Center Hours Per Week: 40Schedule: Days, 7a-3p SUMMARY:As a Nursing Supervisor, your strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational and multitasking skills and demonstrated ability to guide and lead staff makes you a valuable asset to the unit.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Unit Management. Oversee and assure short-and long-term Nursing Department staff schedules; serve as a clinical resource to staff in problem solving, assessment and special procedures; coordinate with the Nursing Staff resident units and admissions department in the rapid admission of residents

    + Supervision Oversees the dining areas, interacting with residents, families and staff in providing a safe, pleasant mealtime and assure appropriate completion of required records

    + Patient Care. Facilitate units in emergency medical assessment and care of residents, including interventions, transportation and other resources as needed

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    + One (1) year of nursing experience required,

    + Registered in NYS as a registered nurse professional.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program required; Bachelors preferred.

    + One to three years of nursing experience. LT PAC nursing experience preferred.

    + One year of supervisory experience preferred.

    EDUCATION:

    LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

    BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)New York State Education Department (NYSED)

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

    The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
