Job Title: Senior Accounts Payable Specialist
Responsibilities
+ Compile and maintain accounts payable records to meet weekly deadlines.
+ Act as a mentor to less experienced team members.
+ Review invoices for appropriate approval and coding.
+ Enter invoices in the Acumatica accounts payable module.
+ Prepare invoice deduction notices.
+ Manage the Concur travel expense system, including employee and supervisor setup/changes.
+ Upload travel reimbursement requests from Concur into Acumatica accounts payable.
+ Check and approve all invoices for payment.
+ Proofread to check for all data entry errors.
+ Answer and research vendor inquiries.
+ Prepare accounts payable checks, ACHs, and wires.
+ Print accounts payable reports upon request.
+ Maintain all accounts payable files, including approval matrices.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Accounts payable experience, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
+ Strong organizational skills.
+ Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ At least 5 years of related experience.
+ Working knowledge of Acumatica is preferred, but not required.
+ Ability to learn new concepts.
+ Knowledge of standard accounts payable policies, processes, and practices.
Work Environment
This position is based in the office within the Accounts Payable department, providing a collaborative environment where team members support each other in achieving common goals.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Akron, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
