    The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the primary point of contact between the company and its customers. This role is responsible for managing customer inquiries, coordinating logistics, expediting orders, and ensuring timely and accurate communication throughout the order fulfillment process. The CSR works closely with internal teams—including production, shipping, and sales—to deliver exceptional service and maintain strong customer relationships.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Customer Communication:

    + Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.

    + Provide accurate information regarding product availability, order status, lead times, and shipping details.

    + Order Management:

    + Enter and maintain customer orders in the ERP system with precision and attention to detail.

    + Monitor order progress and proactively communicate any delays or changes to customers.

    + Logistics Coordination:

    + Collaborate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.

    + Arrange expedited shipments when necessary and track delivery status.

    + Problem Resolution:

    + Investigate and resolve issues related to orders, shipments, or billing in a timely manner.

    + Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments while maintaining ownership of customer communication.

    + Documentation & Reporting:

    + Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and service requests.

    + Prepare reports on order status, backlogs, and customer feedback as required.

    + Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    + Work closely with production planning, inventory control, and sales teams to align customer expectations with operational capabilities.

    Qualifications:

    + Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    + Experience:2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.

    + Familiarity with ERP systems and order management processes.

    + Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    + Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Wauwatosa, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $48000.00 - $52000.00/yr.

     

    Additional informationCompetitive Salary - Pay is determined based on skills, geographic location, internal equity, market/data analysis, number of years of prior relevant experience, degrees and/or certifications, technical assessment score, etc. Benefits: Medical Plan, Dental, Vision, 401k plan with a match from day one, identity theft protection, accident insurance, travel insurance and so much more!Vacation: 2 weeks of vacation per year (pro-rated for the first year depending on start date). 5-12 years of service, 3 weeks. 13+ years of service, 4 weeks.Sick Leave: 5 days of Sick Leave per year.
