The Business Coordinator for Final Assembly Engineering serves as a strategic partner and advisor to the Final Assembly Engineering Leadership team, ensuring seamless execution of strategic initiatives, operational efficiency, and effective communication across the organization. This role is pivotal in steering organizational focus, driving cross-functional collaboration, and delivering high-impact workstreams with excellence. The Business Coordinator will also create content, perform administrative tasks, and coordinate meetings.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare presentations for leadership reviews and ensure timely filing of all required documentation, including Bowler Charts, Monthly Reviews, and Industrial System Quality Review Material.
+ Develop, maintain, and present agendas for key meetings and reviews to align Final Assembly Engineering leadership and ensure preparation and participation for key Executive Leadership Team Reviews.
+ Develop and implement communication plans to keep the organization informed and engaged, maintaining the Quality Newsletter, enhancing cross-organizational communication flow, and updating the Homepage.
+ Prepare presentations, reports, and other communication materials for the Leadership Team and senior leaders.
+ Schedule, coordinate, and prepare materials for Townhalls and Leadership Offsites.
+ Represent the organization and leaders in meetings and forums when requested, managing relationships with key external stakeholders.
+ Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and handling correspondence.
+ Develop communication materials and implement strategies to keep the organization informed and engaged through internal and external platforms.
Essential Skills
+ Proven experience in project management and process improvement.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong analytical skills and proficiency in relevant software applications.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing.
+ Background in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
+ Creative thinker, highly organized.
Work Environment
The role requires working 4 days in the office in Dearborn and 1 day from home, totaling 40 hours per week. You will work closely with other team members, with weekly team meetings in a dedicated space for the Final Assembly team. There may be opportunities to visit plants for collaboration.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Dearborn, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
