**Here's What You Need** Associate's Degree in Applied Science - Required ORCompletion of an accredited program in cardiovascular technology _(Must obtain RCIS within 6 months of hire)_ - Required ORHigh School Diploma or Equivalent _(Plus 2 years of work experience in invasive cardiology)_ - Required1 year vascular or cardiac angiography - Preferred OR2 years experience required if only high school diploma - RequiredCath lab experience for at least 2 years _highly preferred_ , IR experience preferredMust be able to operate Xray equipment ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Upon Hire - RequiredGMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist _(If ARRT only)_ - Upon Hire - PreferredRCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist _(Obtain within 6 months if graduate from Cardiovascular Accredited Program)_ - RequiredLMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist _(If RCIS only)_ - Upon Hire - PreferredRCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist _(For EP labs only)_ - Upon Hire - RequiredBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support _(Prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly)_ - RequiredACLS- _(within 90 days of hire)- Required_ What You Will DoPatient Care
