    Compensation: $155,250.00 - $167,443.20/annually (Tessera's compensation strategy is to position new employees between the minimum and midpoint of this range, depending on qualifications and experience.)

    Tessera is seeking a detail-oriented and servant leadership minded Deputy Site Manager for the WSBOSC project. The Deputy Site Manager leads a diverse workforce of technicians and professionals engaged in a variety of activities that directly support the Navy customer’s mission. The Deputy Site Manager is primarily focused on delivering outstanding results through an integrated, and responsive team, focusing on quality and customer service. Building this quality team requires proactive recruitment, effective onboarding and job training, workforce development, and creating a positive, employee-focused culture that takes pride in its work and supporting the customers mission.

     

    Productivity, workplace safety, customer satisfaction, and the team’s success are dependent on the leadership team position’s efforts. The success of this position will draw from Tessera’s leadership competencies: Mission and Values: Safety Leadership; Operations Excellence; Customer Service; and Servant Leadership.

    Typical duties include but are not limited to:

    + Contract Management – understands contract requirements, as they apply to your team, and oversees the day-to-day management. Briefs customers and resolves issues as needed.

    + Operational Excellence – leverages team and established BI solutions to drive superior performance results, e.g., capacity, on-time completion, backlog, quality, and customer ratings.

    + Change Management – design and implement changes successfully. Able to explain the “why” to employees in a language that is relevant to them.

    + Mentors, motivates and inspires your teams to operate with a “can do, will do” attitude.

    + Support staff in utilizing tuition assistance program for skills training and certification programs.

    + Formulates reports (Workday, Excel, PowerBI, AI) concerning such areas as contract deliverables, work progress, cost control, waste reduction and scheduling.

    + Improve technicians and support staff knowledge, skills and abilities through targeted recruiting, development along all aspects of the employee life cycle, advanced certifications and training. Includes recruiting, incentivization, recognition, OJT, and formal training.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's Degree & 5-8 years of experience; equivalent combination of experience and education allowed

    + Training from Facility and Reliability Organizations such as IFMA, AFE, BOMA, SMRP, or Reliabilityweb. Related certification such as Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) or Certified Facility Manager (CFM).

    + Tessera will enable CRL certification – a planned certificate within first two years.

    + OSHA 30-Hour Training for Construction and General Industry

    + Demonstrated analytical skills leveraging a BI tool such as Excel, Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau

    + Experience in Federal or DoD contract management.

    Physical Requirements:

    Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance.     + Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

    + May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

    + Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.

    + Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

    Requirements:

    + A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
