Job Title: Accounts Payable SpecialistJob Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and processing a large volume of invoices using SAP. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to perform 3-way matching, ensuring that information such as purchase order numbers and part numbers are correct. The specialist will identify discrepancies in invoices, conduct research to resolve issues, and make necessary corrections to ensure timely processing.

Responsibilities

+ Review and process invoices within SAP.

+ Perform 3-way matching to verify information matches on purchase orders, including correct part numbers.

+ Identify and research discrepancies in invoices and make necessary corrections.

+ Partner with internal support departments to obtain necessary documents when required.

+ Assist the buying department with purchase order maintenance, including pushing purchase orders out to vendors and following up on past-due purchase orders.

+ Communicate effectively with vendors regarding purchase order status.

Essential Skills

+ Accounts payable experience of 3+ years.

+ Proficiency in invoice processing, accounting, and invoicing.

+ Experience with purchase orders and reconciliation.

+ Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

+ Experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP, is highly preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School Diploma required.

+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

+ Experience working within a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Work Environment

The Accounts Payable Specialist will work onsite within an office located in a manufacturing environment. The role demands regular use of office software and ERP systems, and interaction with various internal departments and vendors.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Grenada, MS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
