Lead Dry Clean

Full Time – Hourly

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package. The base hiring pay for this role is $21.70 per hour/week.

Job Responsibilities

+ Record man hours for each job.

+ Scrape barn in accordance with SOP.

+ Maintain equipment according to maintenance plan.

+ Ensure ALL equipment is cleaned between jobs.

+ Follow ALL biosecurity procedures.

+ Report any damage to farm manager and support supervisor.

+ Ensure all people are wearing proper PPE at all times according to the Safety Absolutes!

+ Make sure that any problems are reported to supervisor in a timely manner.

+ Follow all harassment rules reporting any issues to supervisor immediately

Minimum Qualifications

+ Good work history

+ Must have a valid driver's license with good vehicle operating record

+ Must be in good physical condition (able to wear respiratory, eye protection, and any/all safety protection wear for extended periods of time). No restrictions against physical repetitive activities of bending, twisting, or lifting. No restrictions prohibiting work in a hot, dusty environment with ammonia present

+ Must have basic math ability to perform record keeping tasks

+ Must possess the ability to effectively manage and lead people

+ Able to work both inside and outside in varying degrees of temperature and humidity

+ While performing job duties be able to bend and twist continuously, work above ground on a scissor lift occasionally

+ Carry 10 – 60 pound containers of disinfectants occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Valid class "A" CDL driver’s license
