We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability on applications built on Java and .NET platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in testing complex systems in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

+ Execute manual test cases for web and desktop applications developed in Java and .NET.

+ Validate functionality, usability, and compliance with business requirements.

+ Document and report defects clearly using standard tracking tools.

+ Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues.

+ Perform regression, functional, and integration testing.

+ Participate in test planning, requirement reviews, and status meetings.

+ Ensure adherence to government security and compliance standards.

Requirements

+ Experience: 2+ years in manual testing of enterprise applications.

+ Technical Skills: Familiarity with Java and .NET application environments.

+ Understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.

+ Tools: Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).

+ Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

+ Ability to work onsite in Lansing, MI one day per week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lansing, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
