Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and experienced Supply Clerk to join our Facilites and Maintenance team at GKN Aerospace. In this role, you will lead all inventory management, spare parts order requisition, stock room organization and kitting related activites to ensure our maintenance technicians always have what they need to keep our equipment running and our production team delivering products to our customers. Job Responsibilities
+ Use the CMMS system to maintain accurate records of supplies, equipment, and materials, including real-time tracking of inventory levels and transactions.
+ Perform regular cycle counts and monitor stock thresholds to ensure availability and prevent shortages.
+ Generate purchase requisitions (PRs) to replenish inventory and maintain minimum stock levels.
+ Coordinate with procurement and vendors to confirm purchase orders (POs) and delivery schedules, ensuring timely and compliant sourcing.
+ Request and log quotes for parts, materials, and services in CMMC, ensuring alignment with aerospace quality standards.
+ Receive, inspect, and verify incoming items; report discrepancies or damage and manage returns or replacements.
+ Collaborate with Accounts Payable to reconcile invoices and confirm payments.
+ Organize and label inventory for safe, efficient storage; follow handling protocols for hazardous materials.
+ Distribute and kit supplies to departments; ensure timely delivery and operate powered industrial trucks as needed.
+ Maintain detailed records of inventory movements and procurement activity in CMMC; generate reports to support usage analysis and decision-making.
+ Align spare parts inventory with preventative maintenance schedules to proactively meet operational needs.
+ Build and maintain vendor relationships to support smooth procurement and resolve issues efficiently.
+ Ensure compliance with aerospace safety, regulatory, and quality standards, leveraging CMMC for documentation and audit readiness.
+ Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize inventory management, reduce costs, and support sustainable practices.
Required Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent
+ 3 years of experience in supply chain management, inventory control or maintenance
+ Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations and/or program requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Familiarity with aerospace-specific materials and equipment.
+ Knowledge of Maintencen Management (CMMS) systems.
+ Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
+ Proficiency in using maintenance CMMS software (Maintence Connection) and Microsoft Office applications, especially excel.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic aerospace facility environment, where precision, safety, and compliance are paramount.
+ Knowledge of safety protocols, including those related to the handling of hazardous materials, if applicable.
