Become an Energy Delivery and Distribution, Senior Supervisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you'll oversee a team of up to ten Sr. Technical Specialists tasked with ensuring the safety and compliance of attachments made to our distribution poles by authorized third parties. Responsibilities

+ Manages the implementation of energy program requirements and delivers tangible reliability and cost saving results for the company, managing and tracking budget utilization to ensure efficient and effective use of resources and budgets

+ Establishes and manages the construction work plan with construction forces in order to meet the customers' schedule and design requirements as well as financial and budgetary requirements

+ Manages the development, maintenance, and documentation of model input data and assumptions to ensure consistent use of data

+ Oversees and manages all distribution system clearance reviews, analysis, and switching plan development, leading and managing a team through the implementation of specialized technical energy delivery projects

+ Manages the usage and maintenance of company models to construct risk-assessed and reliable plans that account for forward-looking market, regulatory and policy trends while also supporting environmental emission reductions

+ Collaborates with regulators to support the development of policies and guidelines that enable broader strategies and objectives

+ Manages bid or evaluation processes including the preparation of bid documents, completion of technical evaluations for proposals and the review and approval of recommendations for selection

+ Identifies opportunities for improved analyses of electric system operations data while prioritizing, developing and implementing improvements, including automated tools for monitoring and reporting operations data

+ A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

+ Four or more years combined experience performing or supervising maintenance scheduling, trouble operations/service restoration, metering operations and operations planning work.

+ Posses a valid Class C Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience performing pole loading calculations in SPIDA.

+ Experience overseeing contractor performance.

+ Experience with SAP.

Additional Information

+ This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
