    About the Role

     

    We are seeking an Help Desk Support to join our client’s team on a 6-month contract with the possibility to be extended but not guaranteed. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and customer service, looking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic IT environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, and instant messaging regarding software, hardware, mobile devices, email, and operating systems.

    + Diagnose and troubleshoot initial hardware/software issues; resolve basic problems such as password resets, document unlocking, and print job rerouting.

    + Document all issues and resolutions in help desk software, ensuring accurate follow-up.

    + Collaborate with IT team members to research and resolve complex issues.

    + Utilize remote tools to diagnose and resolve user errors.

    + Set up user accounts and manage system access/security roles.

    + Maintain effective communication with supervisors and ensure customer satisfaction.

    Qualifications

    + Education:

    + Two-year degree in Computer Technology or equivalent experience required.

    + Four-year degree in Computer Science is a plus.

    + Technical Skills:

    + Strong knowledge of Windows PCs.

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint), Outlook, Internet, and SAP preferred.

    + Soft Skills:

    + Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

    + Strong customer service orientation and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    This is a Contract position based out of Fargo, ND.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
