    Job Summary:

    The clinical Informatics Coordinator serves as a liaison between the patient care team and Information and Analytics Services (IAS) to coordinate, plan and monitor the adoption and use of the clinical electronic medical record (EMR) and other healthcare technologies in operational processes.  Components of this role include assisting with implementation, support, adoption, and optimization of the EMR and other associated technologies.

    Job Requirements, Licenses, Certifications:

    Certification in informatics is required for RNs, achieved within two years of hire date or eligibility date. If certification is unavailable in other clinical fields, ongoing continuing education in informatics is required.

    Physical Requirements:

    Requires frequent contact with all levels of personnel.  Involves walking, standing, sitting, and driving.  Must speak and understand English fluently.  Intact sense of vision and hearing required.  Lifting requirements up to 35 pounds of weight.
