Position Summary
The VP, Marketing for Tom Ford Beauty/Balmain North America leads the development and execution of the brand’s 360° regional marketing strategy. This role partners closely with the GM, Account Management/Planning, Sales, Education, Global Brand teams, NA Corporate Marketing, and Centers of Excellence to drive brand elevation, market share, and commercial performance. The VP oversees consumer engagement, product marketing, digital, social, media, trade marketing, visual merchandising, and omnichannel strategy across the North America market.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Leadership & Vision
• Develop and articulate the long-term marketing vision and strategy for Tom Ford Beauty/Balmain in North America.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team across all capabilities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, agility, innovation, and collaboration.
• Influence cross-functional partners to align on brand priorities and ensure consistent execution.
Marketing Strategy & Brand Building
• Lead the creation of integrated 360° marketing plans grounded in consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and business priorities.
• Oversee strategy across media, social, influencer marketing, CRM/loyalty, analytics, online content, in-store experience, and visual merchandising.
• Ensure cohesive storytelling and positioning across all consumer touchpoints.
• Drive strategies that strengthen brand desirability, luxury equity, and category leadership.
Omnichannel & Go-to-Market Execution
• Build and manage the NA marketing calendar to maximize commercial opportunities.
• Partner with Sales, Education, Account Management, Creative, Finance, Supply, and Online to execute flawless in-market activation.
• Lead planning for seasonal programs, launches, promotions, and events.
• Manage multi-channel A&P budgets and ensure ROI optimization.
Consumer, Digital & Media Strategy
• Leverage analytics and consumer insights to shape omnichannel priorities and assortment strategy.
• Drive digital-first activation across paid, owned, and earned channels.
• Ensure e-commerce, retail immersion, sampling, and social experiences are cohesive and on-brand.
• Oversee influencer strategy, ensuring diversity of voices and measurable impact.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Business Management
• Partner with Global Brand teams to localize strategy while protecting brand equity.
• Monitor market performance and identify critical business actions.
• Ensure marketing strategies support sales, profitability, and long-term growth objectives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in marketing; luxury beauty or prestige consumer categories strongly preferred.
• Deep expertise in 360° marketing, digital strategy, omnichannel planning, and consumer insights.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex brand portfolios.
• Strong strategic thinking, storytelling capability, and ability to simplify complex ideas.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and build strong internal/external partnerships.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating ROI, media performance, and consumer data.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly matrixed, luxury-focused environment.
