About the role

As **Full Stack Engineer** , you will make an impact by designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using the .NET 8. You will be a valued member of the Engineering & Cloud Solutions team and work collaboratively with architects, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and efficient solutions.

In this role, you will:

• A .NET Full Stack Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using the .NET 8

• This includes working with technologies such as C#, .Net 8, ASP.NET CORE, and Entity Framework Core, Hot chocolate Graph API, REST API, Hasura, PostgreSQL, Azure ADO, Azure Service Bus, Azure B2C, Node Js, Dynatrace as well as front-end web development technologies such as ReactJs, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• The Full Stack Engineer will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

• Strong technical skills and experience with both front-end and back-end development are essential for this role.

• Good knowledge of DDD design patterns, CQRS, and clean architecture are mandatory.

• Good hands-on in ReactJS is expected.

• The Full Stack Engineer will be able to develop, test, and deploy web applications to Azure cloud.

What you need to have to be considered:

• 5+ years C#.Net & React JS frontend development with backend integration experience.

• .Net 8, C#.Net, React JS, ASP.Net CORE.

• REST/Web API, Entity Framework Core, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, GraphQL, Hasura, PostgreSQL, Azure ADO, Azure Service Bus, Azure B2C, Node Js, Dynatrace.

• DDD design patterns, CQRS, and clean architecture.

• Must have hands-on development experience using React JS.

• Knowledge of UI Architecture patterns, hooks, CRA, webpack, SASS, LESS, etc.

• Experience in development of SPA with ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, GraphQL, ES6, ESLint, TSLint, etc.

• Understands Server-Side Rendering, Virtual DOM, Performance optimization.

• Familiarity with integrations patterns and invoke/consume REST or GraphQL APIs using fetch, axios, etc.

• Familiarity with unit, integration and automation testing and associated tools or libraries, e.g., Jest etc.

These will help you stand out:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Able to develop SPA (Single Page Applications) consuming server-side REST or GraphQL APIs.

• Build reusable components and front-end libraries.

• Unit, integration, and automation testing to assure the code quality.

Salary and compensation:

The annual salary for this position will be between $63,000 to $100,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
