+ Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 35 hours/week

+ Contract Duration: Through end of school year with option to return next school year (based on performance)

Position Overview

As a School Social Worker, you’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide social work interventions and contribute to the development of Individualized Health Plans (IHPs) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Your role will be essential in helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution required

+ Current state licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) required or current state registration as a Registered Social Worker (RSW) depending on state in which they will be working.

+ Minimum of one year of social work experience preferred

+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

+ Previous school-based experience

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills

+ Passion for student advocacy and mental health support
