Overview :
Amergis EducationalStaffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologistto join our team for the remainder of the school year. This role is essentialin supporting students’ communication development and academic success across bothelementary and high school settings. Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication disorders and determine eligibility for services.
+ Provide individualized speech and language therapy in alignment with students’ IEPs and physician orders.
+ Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
+ Coordinate and participate in meetings such as IEPs, screenings, and parent conferences.
+ Instruct students in the use of assistive communication technologies (e.g., FM systems, AAC devices).
+ Maintain accurate documentation including progress reports, treatment plans, and billing information.
+ Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
+ Perform other duties as assigned to support student success and program goals.
Qualifications :
Master’s degree inSpeech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Valid SLPcertification/license as required by the state of Missouri.
Ability to workeffectively with students across a range of ages and abilities.
Strongcommunication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Commitment toprofessional standards and ethical practice.
